Over the last few weeks I have been working on a new story and it is called "Magic Restore". The plot is Da Vinci code like with a more seinen feel to it. It is a supernatural detective story. I have sent a short synopsis to a few publishers, but I am tired of waiting for answer, so more than likely, this story will come out as a webcomic, hosting on this site. There will be sample pages at first and it will go into subscription base I hope. I might even have "Strange Symmetry" new chapters simultaneously on the site. This will slow down "Guernica" production a little, but I will catch up as soon as I can. Here is a sample of the main character NAGA.

Happy new year everyone! I have been so busy lately. Beside my two regular jobs, I also do freelance illustrations. Just finished a game box cover, here it is:

For those who are interested in a free game, you should definitely check it out. It is a fun game, especially with multiple players. He will be selling it on Microsoft site soon, so better download it while you still can. His website is: http://www.atouchofwar.com. Meanwhile, a 10 pages manga commission is looming in the horizon, but won't able to do it until April. And another sports related illustration job is in the works. But most exciting news is actually a response from an literary agent of a Japanese company. Even it might turn out to be nothing, having someone recognizing the hard work you put out is more than I ever expected.

After making some changes with Guernica Volume 1, it is now officially available through lulu.com. Unlike reading a web Manga, looking at my work in book form definitely taught me something about continuation and story structure. The last 2 weeks I have been working on the launch of Volume 2 at wirepop. Here is a taste:

Phew! Been busy doing some freelance work! But more good news: Tokyopop approved my submission of “Strange Symmetry”. It will turn into one of the Pilots. Keeping my fingers cross! It might just go book form.

I don't believe it! I finally made it! I have won the Tokyopop Rising Stars of Manga 8 competition! The last two and half years have been such a struggle, and now, I feel it's all going to be ok!

Wow! Could you believe I finally updated my website?
Here is the scoop of the update:

-Since most job application has the usual limit of 20 images, and that usually mean the most recent stuff, so in this updated website, I have included some Fine Arts works done pre-2003 in a new section, just to let potential employer and curator to see what I have to offer.

-Since 2006, I have started my web manga with Wirepop, and I see that it is becoming increasingly important for me to interact more with my readers and other creators. Therefore, I have started my Blog at Livejournal. Please find info at my Contact page!

-I have a new project in the work, and hopefully, some company might be interested in publishing it!! A SNEAK PEEK IS IN THE COMIC SECTION!
